Cyclists have options in hit and runs
In this case, the cyclist has been severely injured and we hope that he is able to recover.
If you are involved in a hit and run, you should know that you have options. Cyclists may be covered by their own auto insurance in the event the driver is never found. If the driver is caught, cyclists can hold the motorist responsible, although they can also expect the motorist’s insurance company to attempt to deny coverage. We have outlined these options on our hit and run bicycle accident page.
