Injured in a cycling accident and not sure where to start?
While all cyclists understand there is an inherent risk to sharing the road with vehicles, the majority will likely never encounter a serious accident. However, if you are unfortunately injured in a crash, it is important to know what to do (and maybe more importantly, what not to do).
Remember: It is important to make your statement to the police for their report, but do not speak with anyone from insurance companies until you have spoken with a lawyer. Additionally, even statements to the other parties in the accident or bystanders could potentially be used against you.
