Has S. Jawandha, Esq.

Has Jawandha is an associate trial attorney at Bay Area Bicycle Law. Although he has experience in a broad array of practice areas, including, personal/catastrophic injury, wrongful death, premises liability, products liability, and motor vehicle and trucking accidents, he now enjoys focusing his legal representation on those that have been severely and catastrophically injured in various bicycle-related accidents. Has has experience in handling these various litigation disputes from inception till resolution, including alternative dispute resolution and trial.

Prior to joining Bay Area Bicycle Law, Has practiced as a defense trial attorney working in house for one of the largest insurance corporations in the country. Once being in the shoes of his now adversaries, Has gained first-hand knowledge in the methods and tactics of defense counsel, which he now effectively uses to anticipate his opponents’ strategies and next steps, ultimately benefitting his clients in the litigation process.

Before Has began practicing as an attorney, he earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he excelled in academics, as well as extracurricular involvement. Has successfully completed USF Law’s Business Law Certificate program (focusing on corporate, commercial, and business law), which he graduated from with honors. Additionally, Has was a member of USF Law’s Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court competition team, he served as President of the Real Estate Law Society, and was an active member of the Business Law Society and the Environmental Law Society. Preceding law school, Has graduated from the University of California, Irvine, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, Law and Society.

When Has is not zealously advocating on behalf of his clients, he enjoys weightlifting, playing and watching all sports, helping his family at their East Bay pizza restaurant, and traveling with his wife.
