At Bay Area Bicycle Law, Alvaro focuses on representing injured cyclists in personal injury claims. He picked up cycling after moving to the Bay Area in 2010 to attend UC Hastings, College of the Law.
While attending UC Hastings, Alvaro was a Senior Articles Editor for the Hastings International and Comparative Law Review. Outside of law school, he externed for the Hawaii Intermediate Court of Appeals as well as several public interest environmental organizations in the Bay Area.
After graduating, Alvaro spent several years helping consumers throughout California resolve their lemon law claims against vehicle manufacturers by using the protections afforded under the Song-Beverly Act. His work involved representing vehicle owners through the pre-litigation, litigation, and settlement phases of a claim.
When not in the office, Alvaro enjoys cycling, hiking, and photography.
