At Bay Area Bicycle Law, P.C., we believe in supporting the next generation of lawyers who will champion legal protection and justice for all. With this in mind, we’re excited to announce the Bay Area Bicycle Law Scholarship Fund. This scholarship offers a $1,500 award to a promising future attorney who is either currently enrolled in or has been accepted to law school for the 2025 academic year. We hope this scholarship will help ease some of the financial stress that comes with attending law school.

Application Process and Deadline

To apply for the Bay Area Bicycle Law $1,500 Scholarship, we ask that you write an essay of up to 800 words explaining why you are pursuing a legal career and how you plan to use your degree to fight for justice, or an alternate topic if you prefer.

We are especially interested in learning about any experience you may have in advocating for others, and how that experience informed your decision to pursue a career in law.

Scholarship Deadline: January 15, 2026

Winner Announcement Date: February 15, 2026

Eligibility

Anyone who is accepted into any law school in the U.S. for the 2025-2026 academic year or current law school students attending any law school in the U.S. throughout the 2025-2026 academic year.

Judging Criteria & Award Disbursement

A panel of judges, including the Bay Area Bicycle Law senior management, will evaluate all submissions and select the winner. An announcement will be made on February 15, 2026.

Privacy Policy

Bay Area Bicycle Law will not sell or share students’ information collected during the application process to any third party. We will evaluate all submissions after the deadline passes and inform the winning contestant. The winner’s award check will be mailed directly to their law school’s financial aid department. By submitting content, the applicant gives us permission to publish their content on our site and social media channels. Applicants will maintain ownership rights to the original content.
