Speed Bump Cover-Up

Bay Area Bicycle Law represented a client who suffered a traumatic AC separation after hitting a poorly maintained, run down speed bump. Our team was able to uncover that not only was the speed bump negligently maintained, but that the local neighborhood association attempted to destroy the evidence rather, than fixing the issue and making it right with our client. Right after the injury they issued an emergency order and had the speed bump demolished that very same day. After bringing these facts to light our team was able to secure a settlement of $215,000.00 for our client.
