Bicycle Law of the Day: CVC 22108 (Duration of Signal)

Did you know?  Pursuant to California Vehicle Code Section 22108, “Any signal of intention to turn right or left shall be given continuously during the last 100 feet traveled [ ] before turning.”   This gives other cyclists and drivers around you (hopefully) enough time to become aware that you are about to turn and to prepare accordingly and to thus better avoid an accident/collision/injury.  Please let your fellow cyclists and drivers know (the vast majority of people in California are unaware of this law).
